    Can a Disney Resort guest book Guardians of Galaxy ride for members of their party not staying at resort?

    Hi Pamela,

    Welcome back to planDisney! We appreciate you stopping by for help planning your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.

    One of the many perks of staying at select Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel is that you can start purchasing Individual Lightning Lanes beginning at 7 am EST, while non-resort Guests have to wait until the Theme Park opens for the day. However, I hadn’t thought about what happens if members of your party are both resort and non-resort Guests. Luckily I dug a little deeper and found the answer to your excellent question. Unfortunately, you will not be able to book an Individual Lightning Lane for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind for members of your party who are staying offsite. When you go in to make your selection, they will be shown as not eligible for the pass, and you wouldn’t be able to add them. Your best bet to ensure you can ride together is either to wait until their window opens up to purchase Individual Lightning Lanes or to try for the virtual queue.
