Hey there, Lynsie, and welcome back to planDisney!
Just keep swimmin’! Your most magical vacation will be here before you know it, but first, you’ll have to nail your fins down to one Resort hotel. The pool is a huge deciding factor for my family, too, because I want my own little ones to fully enjoy their fun in the sun. I would love to share some of my favorite pools for toddlers at Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort: Your toddler will LOVE the Finding Nemo-themed The Big Blue Pool and the Schoolyard Sprayground. My boys, who are toddler- and elementary school-aged, can spend hours running around the statues there. The pool has a zero-entry side that gradually dips off into deeper waters, but there is a huge area that they can play around in.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa: While I do have to carry my little one into the main pool at this Resort hotel, he loves zipping down the slide with me before heading over to the Alice In Wonderland-themed splash pad area. This colorful splash pad has multiple kid-friendly slides and many opportunities to get wet, including a large Mad Hatter’s hat that fills up to the brim and dumps out every few minutes.
AN EXTRA GEM: All of the Disney Resort hotels are great choices for the tiniest Mouseketeers and their families. They all have splash pads, pools, and even playgrounds. Also, what I love the most about the pools is that they all have complimentary toddler- and kid-sized life vests at the poolside. This, along with watchful eyes of the life guards, give me peace of mind when my kiddos are splashing away.
Lynsie, if you have any other questions about your upcoming visits with your little one to Walt Disney World Resort,
I’d love to help you here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
