Hi Allison, welcome to planDisney!
There's a great, big, beautiful trip to Walt Disney World Resort shining at the end of your day. All of your planning is about to pay off in the most
earidescent way possible.
I understand you are currently at the top of your family's
My Disney Experience food chain, meaning you are currently managing everyone in your party's account profiles under your account. It also sounds like you've done the hard part of taking steps to merge a My Disney Experience account profile managed by you with a My Disney Experience account created by the same person. Bravo!
Once an adult accepts your invitation to connect, they will appear on your Family and Friends list
without the words "Plans managed by me." A Cast Member's assistance is needed to transfer any other account profiles managed by you to that person's account. I recently did this online via the live Cast Member chat on the
Walt Disney World Resort website, but since you're arriving so soon, I suggest you make a quick stop at
Guest Relations before, during, or after a park day. There's really no immediate need to make the switch, as long as everyone has valid admission, a
theme park reservation for each park day, and a
method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) linked to their My Disney Experience account profile.
I am actually at Walt Disney World Resort right now and want to recommend a few must-pack items for hot September park days: water bottles, sunscreen, and lightweight clothing. There's a high chance of brief showers each day, which can be intense at times, so I'd also throw in some rain gear. Today I even put a pair of flip-flops in my backpack so I wouldn't get my sneakers wet during the forecasted afternoon downpour.
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I hope your great, big, beautiful tomorrow is full of pixie dust and magical memories.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
