Hey there, hi there, ho there, Danielle-Louise! You're as welcome as can be here at
planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!
This is such a common situation, so don't worry. Nothing is wrong with your reservation at all. What's happening here is simply how the system is designed to work.
A
Walt Disney World reservation can only be claimed or linked by one My Disney Experience account. That's why your husband is seeing that message saying it's already linked. Since you've already connected it to your account, he won't be able to link it separately on his own.
The good news is that there's a very easy way for him to see it in his app as well. What you'll want to do is connect his My Disney Experience account to yours through your Family & Friends List. Once he's connected and properly added to the reservation, it will automatically appear in his plans.
To do this, open the
My Disney Experience app and tap the three lines in the bottom right corner. From there, go to your profile and find the Family & Friends List. Scroll down and select the option to add a Guest. You can then choose to enter his details and invite him to connect using his email address. Once he accepts that invitation and his account is linked to yours, you're halfway there.
After that, the important step is making sure he is actually listed on the reservation itself. If he isn't already included, I recommend giving the
Walt Disney World help center a quick call. A Cast Member can add him to the booking and make sure everything is properly connected.
Once those two things are in place, your husband should be able to open his app and see the reservation right there in his plans. I truly hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
