Will Disney be replacing Pleasure Island. We've been putting off returning to Disney World untill there is another kid free zone. A kid free over 21 hotel would be a great start. Something simular to the best hotel they ever had, " The Disney Inn&quo

    Hi Daniel:

Disney has plans to re-imagine Pleasure Island and construction is underway.  I do not know of any plans for a over 21 hotel.  In the Downtown Disney area, there is already a new AMC Dine-In Theatre and an expanded LEGO imagination center.  Also nearby, construction will begin on Splitsville, a 50,000-square-foot upscale entertainment center that combines bowling with billiards, dining, music and nightlife.

At Pleasure Island specifically, Disney has removed some buildings to make way for future plans.  During the construction and demolition phase of this project, Disney decided to reevaluate their plans for Pleasure Island, but have not yet announced the details of the new plans.  Keep checking the Disney Parks Blog, a great source for up to date information on the Pleasure Island re-imagination project.
