Does Disney rent the Electric wheelchairs inside the EPCOT? if so, how do i go about making a reservation?

Hey there, Santiago, and welcome to planDisney! Your trip is right around the corner, and soon you will be on your amazing Disney Vacation!

Santiago, Wheelchair rentals, and Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) rentals are available for rent at each of the four Theme Parks, Water Parks, and Disney Springs. So the short answer to your question is: yes! Wheelchair and ECV rentals are available for an additional fee and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. You cannot reserve one ahead of time. The rental locations are right at the park entrances, so you won’t have to go very far to be close to access them. You can purchase and pick up your Wheelchair Rentals or Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) rental once you go through security and enter the Theme Park. Keep in mind that both Wheelchair and ECV rentals are only available for use while in the Theme Park and must be returned as you exit the location. If you require a wheelchair or ECV for use outside the Theme Park, you may want to consider renting with Disney’s Featured Provider, Scooterbug.

The Walt Disney World Resort does a great job of creating an atmosphere where all Guests are able to safely experience the attractions, no matter their mobility level. Walt Disney World has what is called Attraction Access Categories that help Guests who need mobility assistance to navigate the attractions. Disney has separated each of the attractions across the resort into categories based on whether Guests are required to transfer from their ECVs/wheelchairs or not to experience the attraction. In my experience, the overwhelming majority of the resort attractions allow Guests to remain in their ECV throughout the queue. The attractions vary in logistics for mobility access, and the Cast Members at the entrance of each attraction will be more than happy to assist you!

I hope this helps, Santiago! If you have more questions as you put the finishing touches on your visit, stop back by and ask me.
