Hi Michelle, welcome to planDisney!
I like your vacation style, maximizing your time in the theme parks by expertly planning your itinerary to take advantage of
Extended Evening Hours and attending
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
At this time, the Walt Disney World
Hours & Events Calendar is updated approximately 60 days in advance. At the time I am writing this answer, I can see Extended Evening Hours scheduled until early July 2025. I spoke to a Cast Member who stated the Extended Evening Hours are usually added when the Hours & Events Calendar is updated, however, this is not guaranteed. Using your travel date as an example, you may see the Extended Evening Hours posted in August. Theme park hours and Extended Evening Hours are subject to change.
Looking at the current calendar, Extended Evening Hours are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays at alternating theme parks. I found some past Extended Evening Hours from 2024, and it looks like they were offered on select Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in September and October. According to the
Disney Parks Blog announcement,
in October 2025, Magic Kingdom will host Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party every Thursday and Friday, most Sundays, most Tuesdays, and Monday the 13th. As you know, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket sales begin for Disney Resort hotel Guests on May 15. In my opinion, I would pick a Halloween party date and plan around it. You still have time to think about it, as ticket sales don’t open to non-Resort Guests until May 22. Dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have sold out in past years, however, there’s no way to predict how quickly that will happen.
I hope this information helps you make a decision, Michelle. I wish I could ask Madame Leota to call out, “
Wizards and witches, wherever you dwell, give us a hint by ringing a bell!” If you have any more questions, we’re here to help at
