We still have our Disney refillable mugs from our last visit several years ago. Are we still allowed to use them for out up and coming trip back to Disney or do we need to buy new ones in order to use the machines at the resorts

    Hey there, Elaina!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for stopping by with your question.

Elaina, like you, I have several Disney Rapid Refill Mugs from previous visits in my cupboards. They make me smile and take me back to all the great times we had during our magical vacations to the Walt Disney World Resort. You can bring these older mugs with you and use them for ice water at the parks and during your stay, but they won’t be able to be re-activated for your upcoming trip.

If you have purchased one of Disney’s Dining Plans, you will receive a new Rapid Refill Mug with your plan that you will be able to use for the length of your stay. Or you can purchase and activate new ones once you arrive. I know for my family the Rapid Refill Mug is always a must. We love the convenience of unlimited refills at our home resort and any resorts we visit during our stay, plus it’s a great keepsake we get to enjoy after we get home!

I hope this helped answer your question. For any additional tips or questions, please do come back and see us again soon! It’s our absolute pleasure to assist you as you plan a most memorable vacation to the place where magic is endless.

    Have a magical day!
