If I have a Disney redemption card with Visa but it doesn't have enough on it to pay for the whole park ticket, can I use it to pay for part of the park ticket and pay the rest on my credit card. Similar to how a gift card might work?

Hello there Owen, welcome back to planDisney!

As a fellow Disney Visa Cardmember, it is so convenient to be able to use rewards dollars to help pay for our next trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth!"  Good news, you can definitely use your rewards dollars to pay for a portion of the park ticket, just like a gift card.

When you go to checkout for your theme park tickets, under "Payment Info" you can select "Use a Disney Rewards Redemption Card" to apply your rewards dollars, and then you'll be able to pay the remaining balance with a Credit or Debit Card.  You'll also want to make sure you make your theme park reservations for your trip as well as soon as you purchase your theme park tickets!

Owen, did you know that there are exclusive experiences for Disney Visa Cardmembers in both parks?  There is a character experience in Disney California Adventure Park in Hollywood Land near Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! where you'll be able to have a character photo opportunity at a private location.  There is also a Star Wars photo opportunity for Disney Visa Cardmembers in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park!  You'll need to present your valid Disney Visa Card for entry, and I would have a photo ID on hand as well in case they need verification.

I hope this info is helpful for your upcoming trip, and if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to come back and ask!

    Have a magical day!
