Hiya Amanda, Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your excellent question. I'm thrilled to assist you! How exciting that you're planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort! You are sure to make awesome memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Resort hopping at Disney World is a fantastic way to explore the unique themes and amenities of different Disney resorts, even if you're not staying at them. My family and I always hop to a resort we've never been to on each visit! I did a bit of research and below is a plan that will allow you to experience a variety of resorts, dining options, and activities throughout the day.
Morning: Monorail Resort Loop
Start at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at Kona Cafe. Try the Tonga Toast or macadamia nut pancakes.
- Explore the Grounds: Walk around the lush, tropical surroundings and visit the beach area with views of Cinderella Castle across the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Head to
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - Stroll Around the Resort: Take in the Victorian elegance of the Grand Floridian. Explore the lobby with its grand chandeliers, visit the shops, and enjoy live music if it’s playing.
Hop back on the Monorail and head to
Disney's Contemporary Resort - Walk around and take in the modern architecture and design. Visit the 4th floor concourse to see the Mary Blair mural and watch the monorail pass through the building.
- If you're ready for lunch, you can grab a quick bite at Contempo Café.
Afternoon: Skyliner and Crescent Lake Resorts
Take the Monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), then transfer to the EPCOT monorail and walk or take the Skyliner to Disney’s Riviera Resort
- Visit Disney's Riviera Resort: Walk around and admire the European-inspired decor. Check out the beautiful mosaics and perhaps enjoy a drink at Le Petit Café.
Ride the Skyliner to
Disney's BoardWalk Inn - Take a leisurely walk along the BoardWalk, and enjoy the entertainment, shops, and the classic Atlantic City vibe!
Walk or Boat to Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
- Enjoy the nautical theming of the Yacht Club and the beachy vibe of the Beach Club. Walk around the lagoon and relax on the sandy beach.
Evening: Disney Springs Resorts
Bus or drive to Disney Springs and visit
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa - Wander through this resort inspired by the historic horse-racing town of Saratoga Springs, New York.
End the Evening at
Disney’s Old Key West Resort - Dinner at Olivia's Cafe: Enjoy a casual dinner at Olivia's Cafe, known for its laid-back, Key West vibe and homestyle meals.
Quick tip - Use Disney Transportation! The Monorail, Skyliner, boats, and buses make it easy to get around.
Amanda, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
