Hi! I see Disney will be putting a temp $100 hold on CC's when staying on site for incidentals. Can I still use my Disney Gift cards, that I will give to my Disney hotel at check in, to pay for my purchases on my Magic band like I planned to do?

    Hello, Sean!

Thanks for stopping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another question for us. I'm happy to help!

I'm sure you're getting excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation since it's right around the corner. You've picked a great time to visit with the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival opening just before you arrive. So be sure to check it out!

You can definitely still use your Disney Gift Cards to pay for your room charges once you arrive. I would highly recommend doing online check-in through your My Disney Experience account before you leave home in order to skip the line and go straight to your room once you arrive. After you get settled in, just stop by the front desk and a friendly Cast Member can add those gift cards to your account for any MagicBand purchases that you make.

I hope this helps to answer your question and please don't hesitate to stop back by if you think of anything else. Have a magical day and a magical stay!
