We will be in Disney 6/13-6/17...we are purchasing our tickets when we arrive to save money(military). What is the best way to do Fast Passes once we purchase tickets? Will it even be worth it that late? Any info and tips on this is welcomed! THANKS!

    Hi Anna,

This is a great question. I don't blame you for wanting to save money on tickets. Every little bit helps when trying to stick to a budget at Walt Disney World!

You are correct that some of the more popular attractions may have limited availability when it comes to making your FastPass+ selections, but it's not always impossible! I recommend making all of your selections as soon as you get your tickets. I've been surprised to find many openings even at the last minute.

If there are attractions you wish to enjoy that do not have a FastPass+ selection time available, I suggest making your other FastPass+ selections for early afternoon and arriving to the parks when they open to take advantage of shorter standby lines on the more popular attractions in the morning. This has worked well for our family and early mornings have become my favorite times in the parks.

I do think it will be worthwhile to take advantage of the FastPass+ system whenever you can. I hope this helps and I wish you a magical vacation at Walt Disney World.

    Thanks for stopping by,

    Andrea U.
