Hi there Kim!
Thanks for posting your question to the Moms Panel.
Disney transportation is a magical thing! With hundreds of boats, monorails, and buses, it really is a complex and impressive system. It also changes day to day in response to the theme parks' hours of operation. Therefore, there is no published transportation schedule for all of Walt Disney World. However, it is typical for the buses to start running one hour before park opening time. For instance, if you want to go to Disney's Animal Kingdom for its 9 am opening time on a given day, you could board a Disney's Animal Kingdom-bound bus as early as 8 am that day.
If you have a dining reservation at another Disney resort, you will likely have to make a transfer at some point in your journey. As an example, if you hope to dine at Chef Mickey's on the fourth floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, you'll take a bus from your home resort to the Magic Kingdom. When you arrive at this theme park, you'll switch to the resort monorail and Disney's Contemporary Resort will be the first stop.
If ever you have a question regarding the best way to reach a destination, just ask the Cast Members at the Guest Services desk of your home resort. They'll be happy to point you in the right direction. Before your trip, however, you are welcome to ask additional questions of the Moms Panel. If you'd like to know in advance the best way to get from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort to the Cape May Cafe, for instance, just ask! We'd love to help.
Wishing you a truly magical Disney adventure in March! There's no more beautiful time to visit Walt Disney World.
Best wishes,
Jill
