does disney provide transportation to Port from Miami Airport

    Ahoy, Christie!

Thanks so much for sailing by planDisney with your question. I recently set sail from Port Everglades aboard the Disney Dream with my family, and let me tell you, it was pure magic from start to finish. You are in for an unforgettable adventure on the high seas.

Disney currently offers ground transportation between Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades on both embarkation and debarkation days. However, if you are flying into or out of Miami International Airport, you will need to arrange your own transportation. But don’t worry—there are plenty of options to make your journey smooth sailing. Ride share services like Uber and Lyft, private car services, and shuttle options are all available to get you where you need to go.

To sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your trip, I highly recommend arriving a day early to avoid any unexpected travel delays. You can book a pre-cruise hotel stay through Disney Cruise Line, with the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel and Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa currently featured for pre- and post-cruise stays. For more details or to book, just call a friendly Cast Member or check out the FAQ section on Disney’s website. Disney can also assist with transportation from these hotels to the port, making your transition from land to sea as seamless as possible.

If you have any other questions while planning your magical voyage, just give me a shout. I am always happy to help make your vacation as enchanting and stress-free as possible.

Wishing you smooth seas and endless Disney magic,
    Anne
