Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer!
Like you, my family enjoys booking a split stay when we visit
Walt Disney World Resort as it allows us to experience more than one hotel and enjoy the unique amenities and theming in each. It can take a bit of extra planning to ensure the switch is smooth but for us, the benefits are worth it.
Bell Services can assist with transferring luggage between Disney Resort hotels but cannot deliver to non-Disney hotels. For the most convenient option, consider using a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft. The trip from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to your hotel in the Disney Springs area takes less than 20 minutes, and you can arrange for pick-up directly at the entrance of your Disney Resort hotel. This ensures a quick and hassle-free transfer, so you can get back to enjoying your vacation!
Your second hotel may have shuttles to the theme parks and you can still use Walt Disney World transportation to travel within Walt Disney World Resort. If you’d like to travel to a Disney resort, buses transport Guests directly from Disney Springs. This is also the way to travel to a Disney Water Park - there’s a dedicated bus stop for Guests heading to either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach Water Parks.
Speaking of
Water Parks, Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel in 2025 can enjoy complimentary water park admission on their check-in day! Eligible guests will find this benefit listed under "Future Plans" in the
My Disney Experience app. To enter either Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, simply scan your MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World Card upon arrival. It's a perfect way to kick off your stay with some fun in the sun!
I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning, Jennifer. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
let me know! Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
Enjoy making magical memories,
Candace
