Does Disney have a promotion for mid October?

Hey Howdy Hey Lieza and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear you are in the early stages of planning your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth later this year! It is always nice to stumble upon a little pixie dust while at home when you find great deals on parts or your whole vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. Thank you for stopping by with your question about Special Offers to Walt Disney World for October. I will be happy to give you more information on where to find these great deals. Giddy up!

For the most up-to-date list of the current offers, you are going to want to visit the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page on the Disney site. This is where you will find all of the current offers officially from Disney you can look into for your upcoming trip. While this is the best place to find offers, just know that Disney is a season or two behind when it comes to announcements of any Special Offers. It looks like at this time, all offers currently available stop in early October. While I don't know for certain if a special offer will become available for your trip, I do know that if you book now and one does, you can still take advantage of the offer. Let's discuss how.

Once you book your vacation and your reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account, this is where you can make changes to your reservation if an offer is released that applies to your reservation. Under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section, you will see your reservation and a blue hyperlink to the right that states "Modify Reservation". You will click on that and then you can move through the steps to search for and book your same reservation. This time, under the Disney Resorts Collection options, you should see an option to select the offer that applies to your trip. Keep going through the steps and the final one will be a complete review of your proposed changes with the new price update or benefit that the offer provides. Once you choose to confirm the changes, you will be all set with your offer applied!

Now, these steps hopefully are not too much for you, but you also have the option to call Disney and have a Cast Member help you. When you call, make sure you have your reservation number handy and let the Cast Member know you want to update your reservation to apply the Special Offer. They will be able to locate your reservation, check that availability for the offer is still there and then make the switch for you. Either way, you will be able to take advantage of offers even if you have a trip already booked.

I hope this explanation helps you when planning your vacation. Even though an offer currently is not valid for mid-October, you still may benefit from one even if you have a trip already booked by following the steps above. If you have any further questions when planning your Magical vacation, just know you have a friend in us here at planDisney to help you along the way!

    To Infinity and Beyond,
