Hello, Julie! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Julie, I love that you're taking the plunge into a fully immersive Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I understand that it can feel a tad overwhelming. Fear not, as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother helped her, we are here to help you!

First, my family and I LOVE Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside. The laid back Southern charm immediately puts us in vacation mode and the size of this resort makes it easy to navigate. Since that will be your home base in June, you'll use complimentary Walt Disney World Bus Service to and from all four theme parks. In my eyes, it's so convenient never having to worry about parking!

Now... when I'm planning my family vacations, I like to start by deciding which parks we'll be visiting on which days. If your ticket's are park hoppers, we like to at least plan where each day will BEGIN or where we'll spend the majority of our time.

Julie, I know you mentioned utilizing the Disney Dining Plan. The second part of vacation planning for me is selecting the Table-Service restaurants we want and making our Advanced Dining Reservations. There are some great Character Dining options that require 1-Table Service entitlement that I highly recommend. Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT is at the top of my family's list. I encourage making reservations as some of the Table-Service restaurants are very popular.

Next, spend a few minutes reading up on the Fastpass+ system. Bypassing the stand-by line for our favorite attractions has saved my family countless hours in the parks! Since you will be staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can pre-book three attractions per day (at one park) 60 days in advance. To do this, you'll just need to log on to My Disney Experience. While everyone's idea of a favorite attraction is different, one of our "must-do's" with a Fastpass+ is Avatar- Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park

Julie, I hope this helps give you a starting point and puts your mind at ease. Make sure to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App so you can keep your plans at your fingertips.

After you've had a chance to think more about your vacation, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you have! I'm sure with a bit of planning, you'll find that staying in the middle of the Magic is like a dream come true

    Best wishes!
