Hi, there!
Irskie, it sounds like you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort this Spring. And with a
little one in tow! How very exciting.
I'm pleased to tell you that
complimentary cribs are offered to Guests of Disney Resort hotels. Most are standard-sized Pack 'n Play playards, but larger cribs may be available. You can request a crib upon arrival, but quantities are limited, so I recommend adding the request to your reservation as soon as possible. Simply call the Reservation Team at (407) 939-1936 and let them know that you'd like to request a crib for your upcoming stay. A friendly Cast Member there will be happy to make that note on your reservation!
A fitted crib sheet will be provided when the crib is delivered to your room. When my little ones were still sleeping in a crib for our Disney vacations, I always packed a favorite blanket, beloved lovey, and sound machine to ensure our babies had pixie-dusted dreams. After all, a well-rested baby makes for a well-rested parent!
You'll surely need a stroller as your family explores the theme parks.
Strollers are available to rent from all four theme parks, but Guests are welcome to bring their own stroller from home. If you choose to bring a stroller, just be sure it meets the
stroller guidelines. You'll be parking your stroller in designated stroller parking areas throughout the theme parks. To make it stand out among a sea of others, take something along with you to mark it. I always attach Mickey Mouse ribbon to the handlebar of our stroller, but I've seen Guests use nameplates, balloons, and even battery-operated twinkle lights!
Did you know there's a conveniently located
Baby Care Center in each of the theme parks? The Baby Care Center is the perfect place for a quiet feeding or diaper change!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Irskie. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
