Are Disney pools heated in January - specifically the Yacht Club?

Hi Kimberly! All of the Disney World resort and park pools are heated all year round to 82 degrees.  On a cold day in January it isn't going to be the temperature of the water that will affect you but the air temperature when you get out of the pools. I always suggest to the guests who are traveling in winter months to pick mid day to enjoy pools as the sun is at its hottest and it will feel warmer when you are swimming. During exceptionally cold days water parks and resort pools will close so be sure and check with your resort if colder weather is approaching so you will know if the Yacht Club pool might close for the day.  Hopefully you will have time to enjoy Stormalong Bay! It is truly the best pool on property and even if you can't enjoy the slide due to being out of the water for the time to use it there is much to enjoy beyond that!
