Does Disney Polynesian resort have microwave for guest use?

Aloha, Neviah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Pull up a hammock while we chat about this little slice of paradise at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Neviah, from the tropical landscaping of the grounds to the scent of exotic flowers wafting through the Great Ceremonial House, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort keeps calling Guests back to experience its charms. As soon as you step inside and a Cast Member welcomes you with a lei, you'll feel like you've been transported to the South Pacific. I can practically taste the Dole Whip from Pineapple Lanai now!

Standard rooms at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort feature amenities like a coffee maker, refrigerator, hair dryer, and in-room safe. There are no microwaves in the rooms, but Guests are welcome to use the microwave in Captain Cook's, the quick-service restaurant located in the Great Ceremonial House, just behind the Lava Pool.

While standard rooms don't have microwaves, you might consider the Villas & Bungalows if quick access to a microwave is important to your family. Amenities in the Villas & Bungalows range from a small kitchenette to a full-sized kitchen. If you're open to staying in another Resort hotel, the family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground also have microwaves in the rooms.

I hope this helps you plan an amazing vacation in paradise, Neviah. Please come see us again if you have any more questions. You're always welcome to be part of our 'ohana!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
