Hi there, Scott,
I’m sorry to hear your daughter fell ill. But that is great news that she recovered and you were still able to experience the Disneyland Resort during your visit to sunny
Southern California.
Ticket validity varies based on the
theme park ticket type. A
standard theme park ticket expires after all of the days of the ticket have been used, or 13 days after the first day of use of a multi-day ticket, or when the expiration date stated at the time of purchase has passed, whichever comes first. If a ticket is wholly unused, that is, none of the days of the ticket has been used, it can usually be upgraded to a new ticket of equal or greater value even if the ticket expiration date has passed. You can check your ticket purchase confirmation email for expiration date information and other terms specific to the tickets purchased.
To use the remaining days of an existing theme park ticket, you may book new
theme park reservations for
available dates while the ticket is still valid. To upgrade a ticket that is either still valid or that is wholly unused, you may visit a Disneyland Resort main entrance ticket booth. Or you may ask a Cast Member with the
Tickets phone line or through the online chat service.
I hope you and your family are able to remain well. Whenever you are able to visit the Disneyland Resort again, may you enjoy a magical and memorable experience.
~Tony
