    Disney planning dvd

    Hey there Marcela,

Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney! We always welcome the opportunity to share all our Disney vacation experiences with you as a way to help you make the most of your own Disney vacation plans.

I always feel that planning for a Disney destination vacation can be so much fun. Imagining the thrills and sounds and feels of a favorite attraction (Ready for launch, Space Mountain!). Anticipating the big smiles and joyful jumps when waving "hi" to a favorite Disney friend ("Hey there, Mickey my Pal!"). Awaiting the first savory taste of a favorite theme park snack or meal at a favorite Disney restaurant ("Reservation for two at California Grill, please!). I know that planning a Disney vacation is one way to look forward to a great, big, beautiful tomorrow.

Watching a Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning DVD was one way of enjoying the fun of planning for a Disney vacation. And while those types of DVDs aren't mailed out these days, you can still enjoy the fun of planning with super useful info and helpful tips available to you at the click of a link or tap of a screen.

Marcela, did you know you can watch Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning videos without even needing to turn on your DVD player? That's right! Many of my fellow planDisney Panelists offer their first-hand insights of Walt Disney World Resort hotels, theme parks, and attractions, and you can watch their videos in the planDisney Video Library. Check out all their fun-to-see and oh-so-helpful planning tips on a wide-range of topics covering so much good info!

Speaking of "Did you know..." Did you know you can view -- from the easy comfort of your favorite Disney vacation planning sofa/chair/spot at home -- the same guide maps that are handed out in the theme parks?

Here's where you can find each of the Walt Disney World Resort theme park guide maps:
Marcela, what if I were to say you could learn all about Walt Disney World Resort, not from watching a DVD, but from "touring" the Resort on your mobile device? The My Disney Experience mobile app is one of my favorite mobile apps. It's super helpful for finding info about Resort hotels, restaurants, shops, theme parks, attractions, wait times, and so much more. The interactive maps can help you virtually visit all your favorite spots around Walt Disney World Resort, and -- just like that -- with a pinch and a zoom -- you're spending your planning time previewing all the places you'll be visiting during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Marcela, I hope you find these planning resources helpful. Please be sure to come back and see us with any questions you have as you put together your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There's so much magic awaiting you!

    Enjoy your Disney days!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
