Welcome to planDisney, Wesley!
With just a few weeks left before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, the countdown is officially on! I'm excited to hear that you'll be staying at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa during your visit because it's one of my favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotels (in fact, it just so happens to be my
Disney Vacation Club Home Resort). With its laid-back, yet sophisticated vibe, spacious rooms, and close proximity to
Disney Springs, it's a perfect place to retreat after a busy day in the parks. As you spend some time exploring the Resort, be sure to stop by the
Community Hall, located next to the Win, Place, or Show Arcade. Here, you'll find activities, games, crafts, sporting equipment and DVD rentals, and so much more. It's the perfect place to add an extra sprinkle of pixie dust to your Resort experience!
Like you, my family loves being on the go from early-morning rope drop to park close when we visit Walt Disney World Resort. After all, how else could you experience all there is to see and do, right? And here's the best part –– as a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest, you'll be able to spend
even more time in the parks with some special perks. As it sounds like you already know, all Disney Resort Guests can enter the four theme parks up to 30 minutes early each morning during the
Early Theme Park Entry period. All you need is valid theme park admission and a Disney Park Pass reservation for the park of choice to hit the ground running bright and early.
The good news doesn't stop there, though –– as a Guest of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, you'll also be able to take advantage of the special
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit that's exclusively available to Guests staying at a Deluxe Resort. On these evenings, you and your Deluxe Resort neighbors will be able to spend an additional two hours in the park after it closes to the general public. My family took advantage of these extended evening hours during our most recent trip and we blast, so I definitely recommend adding this to your plans if you're up for a few late nights. Just note that, unlike the morning hours benefit, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are only available at certain parks on select nights. For the most up-to-date info, I recommend checking the Park Hours in the
My Disney Experience mobile app before you arrive to see which nights this perk may be offered during your visit.
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, Wesley. I'm wishing you lots of early-morning magic and nights that are filled with adventure during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
