Hiya, Larry. Welcome to
planDisney!
Larry, it's so exciting that you are considering becoming a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder. I've been one for years now and it's absolutely worth the initial investment.
The
Disney Pixie Dust Pass is only for those Guests that reside in Florida, which it looks like you do. That's great! This particular pass gives you access to all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks on most weekdays throughout the year. However, there are some weeks that are considered blockout dates and before you purchase, I suggest taking a look at the
blockout date calendar to see if the dates you'd like to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks are available for you to do so with this particular pass. Right now, the calendar goes out until November 2023 so you should get a pretty good idea.
Once you've purchased your Pixie Dust Pass, that's all you'll need to pay to visit the theme parks. There aren't other charges throughout the year to use your pass. On top of that, being an annual passholder, you'll also receive complimentary theme park parking anytime you drive yourself. This is one of my favorite perks that I find is really handy throughout the year.
One other thing you'll need to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks with your annual pass is a
park pass reservation. These are free and with your pass, you can make and hold 3 park pass reservations at a time without staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the theme park you'd like to visit each day. You are only able to hold 1 park pass reservation a day for 1 particular park. However, if you would like to park hop you can absolutely do that. After 2:00 p.m. you can go and visit any of the other Walt Disney World Theme Parks as long as you've scanned into the first park where your reservation was made for.
I hope this helps, Larry. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have a magical day!
Jackie H.
