If I get the Disney Pixie Dust Pass at the end of my year would I be able to upgrade it to the Pirate Pass?

Hey there, Samantha, and welcome to planDisney!

Greetings from Sweet Home Alabama! I always feel a little FOMO when I think of the ability of my neighboring Florida friends to purchase annual passes! Between the annual pass offerings and the current 20% off hotel room special offer on select Disney Resorts Collection hotels, my family often considers moving to Florida. Ahh - maybe one day I’ll join the Florida Annual Passholder team!

Samantha, Annual Pass sales for many of the tiers are currently paused. However, since the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is the only one available for Florida residents to purchase, I would definitely grab one as soon as you can. I confirmed with a Cast member that you will be able to upgrade to the Disney Pirate Pass (provided it is available) once Annual Pass sales resume.

Once you have those coveted Annual Passes in hand, be sure to take advantage of the many discounts and special offers that are included as benefits, including standard theme park parking, savings on dining and merchandise, and more!

I hope this helps, Samantha! If you have more questions while you plan, stop back by and ask me. After all, you’ve got a friend in me!

    Until Next Time,
