How do I get a Disney person to help me plan a trip

Hey Howdy Hey Libby and welcome to planDisney!

I completely understand your question as planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort can be tough trying to figure out everything from where to stay, parks to visit when to make reservations and the whole experience. It may be stressful to find out how to do everything if this is your first time and I would highly recommend that most people seek the guidance of an experienced travel agent to take the heavy load off of planning a trip. Let's go through finding the right agent to work with you to help you plan your trip!

The first thing when looking for a travel agent's help to plan your trip is knowing which ones are the good ones, right? Disney has special distinctions they use to identify those special agents as well as more pristine designations for those agencies that go to infinity and beyond for their clients. What you will be looking for is the "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" phrase, complete with Mickey Ears, which should be listed somewhere on their home page with a logo as well. This distinction is only given to agencies that have vast experience with helping Guests book trips to many Disney locations as well as great customer service. You might notice on some that they may have different colors or accolades they boast about on their sites such as "Platinum Authorized Disney Vacation Planner". Disney does give out special distinctions for those agencies that are more experienced and book a lot more trips with exceptional customer service.

After you do your internet search and you find a couple of Authorized Disney Vacation Planners, feel free to reach out for a free quote. These agencies should be able to give you a no-hassle, free quote to give you a baseline of what to expect as far as a price goes. These services should be free from these agencies so make sure you ask about fees as most should NOT have any fee associated with planning a trip.

Once you get a few quotes feel free to reach out and ask any questions you might have about your trip as these agents are invaluable not only for their knowledge on trips to Disney but how to attack the planning process specific to your party. They will be able to help you book your vacation package, advanced dining reservations and so much more and usually all you have to do is tell them what you would like to do and they will get all the planning done for you!

One of the best parts about a trip to Walt Disney World is enjoying how fun it is to plan your trip. Using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to help you plan your trip can be one of the best decisions when it comes to planning your trip to keep this process enjoyable. Keep your eye on the Magic and the fun while they do all the technical stuff!

Best of luck with your pursuit of the right agent and feel free to stop back to your newfound 'Ohana with any questions you have! We always love any excuse to talk about all things, Disney!

    Have a Magical Day,
