Hi Louise,
Thanks for returning to planDisney with another question! I was recently in Walt Disney World and I was so excited to visit EPCOT, I forgot my MagicBand+ in the hotel room. Luckily, I had my
MagicMobile Pass set up and easily tapped my phone to the touchpoint at the entrance.
It sounds like your family members might not have their own My Disney accounts, and you manage the plans for your family of five. If you haven’t already, you can create a profile for each family member and add it to your Family & Friends List. In the My Disney Experience app, visit your Family & Friends List and click “+ Add a Guest.” Enter the required information for each Guest, and if the Guest does not have their own My Disney Experience account, you can choose to “
manage all plans for this Guest.” This will create a profile for each Guest, but won’t require them to make an account with a login and password. Then you can assign a ticket to this Guest, add the Guest to dining reservations, and purchase Lightning Lane Passes for the Guest.
If your family members have My Disney Experience accounts, you can reassign each ticket to anyone in your Family & Friends List. Visit the “Tickets and Passes” section of the My Disney Experience app and click “Reassign Ticket,” then select the person who will use the ticket.
To add tickets to your digital wallet, you can
set up Disney MagicMobile Pass. Click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right of the My Disney Experience app, and scroll down to “Set Up MagicMobile Entry.” Follow the steps to set up your MagicMobile Pass, or click the + in the top right corner to create a pass for the Guests you manage. After the passes are created, you can “Select Passes to Share.”
The pass is shared through Apple Messages, so I recommend sharing one pass at a time. Each Guest can then add the Pass to their Apple Wallet. Sharing passes is only available for Apple devices at this time.
I hope this helped, Louise! Your visit is coming up next month, which means you might see the
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Parade in Magic Kingdom, or get to experience the newly reimagined
Test Track in EPCOT. Don’t forget it is
Cool Kid Summer in Walt Disney World, and there are special offerings in each theme park for kids of all ages. If you have any more questions, please come back to see us at
planDisney!
