I have 2 Disney passes that I received in May 2019 that expire on May 15, 2021. Due to COVID we have been unable to plan a trip to make it there. Is there any way this expiration date can be extended. Thanks

Hey there, hi there, Jill! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be.

It sure feels like the past year was conjured up by the Disney Villains! Thankfully, our heroes have arrived to bring a bit of normalcy and magic back into our lives. Like you, I had to postpone several trips during the pandemic, but fortunately, Walt Disney World has been flexible and understanding every step of the way.

Most Disney theme park tickets never lose their original value, even if their expiration date has passed. The amount paid for a wholly unused Walt Disney World theme park ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket. If you or someone else bought those tickets either directly from the Walt Disney World website or a third-party, authorized Disney ticket seller, you'll want to call (407) 566-4985, and a Cast Member will help you upgrade the tickets so they can be used for a future vacation.

I hope this is helpful, Jill. When the time is right for you to travel again, the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort will be waiting for you. Thanks so much for sending your question our way, and we can't wait to see ya real soon in the theme parks!

Wishing you a great, big, beautiful tomorrow,
    Betsy
