Heigh-ho, Darrin!
It's off to
Walt Disney World you go! You must be so excited that your magical adventure is almost here. Let's talk about visiting the theme parks with a party the size of Snow White and all seven dwarfs!
Darrin, you can purchase
Lightning Lane passes and select return times for anyone in your Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience. This is true for both your initial purchase and subsequent Lightning Lane entries. If you're the point person for Lightning Lanes and
Virtual Queues (which is a great idea, and I always suggest big groups designate one person to be in charge of these), make sure you're connected to everyone in your travel party via Family & Friends. If you're missing someone, add them in the My Profile section of the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Select "Family & Friends List," then scroll down until you see the option to + Add a Guest.
I hope this is helpful and you have a fantastic time with your crew later this month. My planDisney pals and I often travel as a group, so before I go, I'll share a few quick tips for making the most of your time together.
*My favorite spots for dining with a big party are
Via Napoli (the long table in the restaurant's center can accommodate at least 20 guests) and
Biergarten (tables here can fit up to ten). Family-style eateries like
Liberty Tree Tavern and
'Ohana are also fun for groups.
*If you have several rooms at the same resort, use the online chat feature or
call Disney to request to be placed in the same section. Be prepared with reservation numbers and lead guest information before calling or chatting.
*Have one person purchase
Memory Maker so you can enjoy and share photos from your time together.
*It can be difficult to keep everyone together while sampling items from the
Global Marketplaces during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. My friends and I like to start walking in the same direction, stop for items that appeal to us, and meet up to enjoy our snacks and sips. The area in front of
The American Adventure and the space where World Showcase meets World Celebration are good spots for reconvening.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question, Darrin. Best wishes for a memorable getaway, and have a magical day!
