Hello , is there a Disney parks welcome video or similar item that can be used to tell our God children they are going to Disney ? We are going in december and are planning on telling them in sept . It would be fun to have a video that introduced the parks

    Hey there, Frank!

Thanks for coming to planDisney with your question. I think it's so very exciting that you're planning to surprise your godchildren and tell them about their trip to Walt Disney World Resort. I can just imagine all the excitement when you share that pixie-dusted news!

For me, nothing says "We’re going to Walt Disney World!" better than the Tomorrow is Just a Dream Away video that you might have seen playing on television. It's such a fun video to watch (again and again and again) and I think it really captures the spirit of excitement and anticipation that we all feel the moment when we know we're heading to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

You might find some sources of inspiration at the Disney Parks YouTube channel. You'll find a vault of videos and playlists to showcase just about every aspect of the Disney vacation experience -- the theme parks, attractions, Disney Resorts Collection hotel accommodations, delicious dining experiences, behind-the-scenes moments, and so much more. One of my favorite videos is the Magic is Here video highlighting the many magical moments that await you at Walt Disney World Resort. Another favorite is the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration video that sets the stage for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” that kicks off on October 1. It's sure to be one awesome anniversary party, and -- best of all -- it looks like you'll be there to join the celebration.

One of the most fun ways to embrace the eager anticipation of an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation is with a countdown calendar. My fellow planDisney Panelists offer up some great ideas for how to mark off the days in the planDisney Panel Extra planDisney Panelists Offer Ideas for Disney Countdown Fun

Frank, I hope that a few of these ideas are helpful to you as you look for ways to share the special news that there's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow just a dream away for your godchildren.

One additional tip I always like to share is to be sure and make your theme park reservations through the Disney Park Pass system. The Disney Park Pass system is quick and easy to use and in just a few steps you'll have your theme park reservations available to view in the My Plans area of My Disney Experience. It's a good idea to check for availability of theme park reservations first by taking a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar.

Here's wishing you all a wonderful and fun vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! If you want to pick up more recommendations and trip tips, ask us here at planDisney. We love the opportunity to share our advice and ideas from our own Disney destination vacations.

    Enjoy all the Disney magic!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
