When will the Disney Parks be open for out-of-state guests? We are fully vaccinated and have proof of that.

    Hi Kyra,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send your question.  I bet you are just as excited as I am to get back to the Happiest Place on Earth.  After such a long closure, we could all use some more magic in our lives!

Currently, due to state guidelines, Disneyland Resort is welcoming California Residents with news for out of state and international guests to be released at a later date.  While we don't have an exact date just yet, I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as well as the official Disneyland Resort Website since any new information will be released there first.

Once out of state guests are able to visit, don't forget to make your Theme Park Reservations when purchasing your Theme Park Tickets as capacity is still limited.  Guests are now required to have both a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a Theme Park Reservation for every day they would like to enter a Theme Park.  It's quick and easy to secure your Theme Park Reservation at the same time you purchase your Tickets.  If you need to change the date later on, that's ok.  All you need to do is cancel your existing reservation and make a new one, provided there is still availability.  If you need to change your reservation, I suggest checking the Theme Park Availability Calendar prior to canceling your existing reservation.

I hope you will be able to visit Disneyland Resort soon, Kyra.  Please come back to us at planDisney if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
