Hi Alexandre! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm sure you are excited about your upcoming visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort next year! I know the moment that I officially have my trip booked, I begin planning for all the magical experiences that await!
This is a wonderful idea! Taking photos in real-time and having your friends leave with these special memories documented is the best gift you can give. I took a peek at the
prohibited items list on the Walt Disney World website and it did not make mention of any small photography or photo printing device. I would assume that if this item can fit in your backpack, you should have no trouble bringing it with you on your Magic Kingdom day. However, Walt Disney World does reserve the right to prohibit the use or storage of any other item not listed, so it is possible that you may be questioned when passing through the security line. For reference, my wife brings her professional photography camera to the parks and I've seen many Guests with small recording devices filming their day. I would classify your device as similar to these, but that is solely my opinion.
I hope you are planning to ride
TRON Lightcycle / Run with your friends on your Magic Kingdom day! This fairly new attraction is the latest thrill ride to arrive at Walt Disney World and has quickly become a favorite of mine. It's incredibly immersive from the moment you enter the queue.
Alexandre, please
stop back and see us again at planDisney with any additional questions you may have! Have a magical time during your upcoming stay!
See ya real soon!
