Hello again, Bruce! It's me, your North Carolinian panelist again.
I oftentimes will bring a cooler backpack into the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks with me. Well, I should say my husband brings it in because, in all honesty, he's the one that carries it around all day. Per the
Walt Disney World Theme Park rules coolers, backpacks and suitcases, with or without wheels, cannot be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. I think you'll find pretty much anything you were thinking of taking with you to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks is going to fit those dimensions.
When packing your cooler for the day, here's a few things to keep in mind:
- No outside alcohol is permitted
- No glass containers are permitted
- When packing your cooler, be sure to keep it cold with reusable ice packs only. Loose ice and/or dry ice is no longer allowed
- At the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, you won't have access to anything to heat your food or drinks up with. You'll need to pack items that can be enjoyed cold or at room temperature
When packing your cooler bag for the day, keep in mind that you are able to get free ice water at every quick-service dining location throughout Walt Disney World. All you have to do is walk up to the counter and ask for one. This tip has saved my husband from carrying around a super heavy backpack all day long because I actually leave the bottled water at home. In my cooler, you can find a few sodas and snacks like crackers, string cheese and maybe even a sandwich.
Bruce, I hope this has helped. Like I mentioned before, feel free to stop back by and
ask me anything you might want or need to know about your upcoming vacation. I'm here to help!
Have a great day!
