Hello Disney Parents! To get a AP room rate (if there is a discount for your time of travel) do you have to have a active AP at the time of booking? Or just when you check in?

I love annual pass discounts!  They have opened the door for us to try different resorts that were out of reach for us without the discount.

The good news is that you do not need to have an active annual pass at the time of booking!  You can have a voucher or simply the intent to purchase one.  Then by the time you check into the resort, however, you will need to have one.
