Hello, is Disney going to have a parade to replace the electrical parade. I had made reservations for Nov. 6. It was a dining package with VIP viewing area to see the electrical parade. Do I cancel the reservations or are they going to substitute something

Hi Kelli! There are many, many guests who were surprised and now disappointed that the great Main Street Electrical Parade is leaving Walt Disney World in early October. Unfortunately, nothing has been announced for its replacement but we are all hoping that something is coming soon and we will all be entertained by something as fabulous.

I would certainly hold on to your dining reservation. If nothing else you can spend a good day in the park and look forward to a nice sit down meal that evening. If you cancel now and they do announce something you likely won't get a reservation back. So keep it and continue to watch for announcements. If it comes time for your vacation and you don't wish to stay in the park for dinner you can cancel but just make sure you do it at least 24 hours in advance.
