Hello Disney Mom's Panel! My family is arriving on a Sunday and we have never been to TRex but we really enjoy Rainforest Cafe. The only reservation I can get is for 10:00pm. Is it crazy to try and walk up and get in, even if we have an hour wait?

    Hi Tegan,

T-Rex is a fun experience for the whole family and reservations seem to disappear quickly. Don't despair, though. It is often possible to be seated without a reservation if you are willing to wait a bit. A friend and his wife took their three sons there not long ago and were able to get a table with just a few minutes delay. They arrived early (around 5 p.m. for dinner) and made sure no one was starving, in case there isn't a table immediately available. While you wait, your family can browse the nearby stores and check out all the cool Lego sculptures.

If for some reason you find that T-Rex is not going to work for you, there are lots of new family-friendly dining options at Disney Springs that do not require a reservation. Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza and D-Luxe Burger are rapidly becoming favorites in my family, along with Morimoto Asia Street Food

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tegan. Enjoy your evening dining at Disney Springs!
