Hi Mark! Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question.
Your trip is right around the corner! I hope you're ready to enjoy all the magic of your Disneyland Resort v
acation package. Currently, in addition to a valid theme park
admission ticket, you also need a theme park reservation, subject to
availability, to enter the parks. The window for booking a theme park reservation opens 120 days in advance. With a Park Hopper ticket, you'll be picking which park you'd like to start your day in, and booking as early as possible is always a great idea since they do sometimes fill up. You're in luck though! I took a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and both parks are currently available as your starting park. Book that
reservation as soon as possible since there is no guarantee your preferred starting park will remain available, however, which we don't want for you.
You're going to love the convenience of the
Park Hopper ticket. My family does a lot of shorter trips and the Park Hopper allows us to experience most of our must-dos. We often start our day in our preferred park, hop after lunch, and hop back later in the evening for evening entertainment.
Genie+ is a great option too for a shorter trip. With the ability to book a return time, using the Lightning Lane Entrance, we spent less time in line on our most recent trip, which maximized our fun. You can add Genie+ on the
Disneyland mobile app once you enter the park. Just open the app, click "My Genie Day," and click "Get Disney Genie+ Service" to begin the purchase process.
I hope you have the best time!
Elizabeth
