Hi Kenneth,
Glad you stopped by today at the
Disney Parks Moms Panel. And it looks like you will be celebrating the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. Awesome!
It is my favorite time of the year to visit. The whole Resort dresses up to celebrate the season with amazing decorations and events. My favorite is
Candlelight Processional, part of
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. Here you get to hear the story of Christmas narrated by a personality, and accompanied by an incredible choir and 50-piece orchestra.
Mickey also celebrates with his pals and all Guests in
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. In this special ticketed event, you get a chance to experience some of your favorite attractions with little or no wait, as well as an awesome parade and fireworks display. The party is held on select nights between 7:00 p.m. and midnight, but Guests with tickets can enter
Magic Kingdom Park starting at 4:00 p.m.
Your idea to relax during the day is a great one and what I usually recommend, while saving a day of
Theme Park Tickets. Although purchased Tickets are non-refundable and can only be upgraded, one of the great things about a
vacation package is that you can modify it without penalties up to 30 days before Check-In. And if you already paid in full, you will receive any corresponding refunds to the original method of payment. After that, most changes that result in a lower total vacation package cost will incur a fee. To make these changes you'll need to speak to a vacation planning expert at (407) 939-1936, or your travel agent.
One last tip: why not arrive to the party in style? You can, with the new
Minnie Van Service! Happy planning.
Ricardo.
