Hi Thomas! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear you are planning a trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort later this year! While there is a lot that goes into the planning process, having help along the way is the perfect way to ensure that you have an amazing experience. Let's discuss a few options you have when booking your stay.
While Disney does not offer traditional travel agents, there are several Authorized Disney Vacation Planners available for you to use. These individuals do not work directly for Disney, but they are well-trained to help you book your trip. They can help with your
Disney Resort hotel reservations, ticket package, and dining plan. However, they can also assist with your airfare and travel accommodations. The easiest way to find one is to perform a Google search for Authorized Disney Vacation Planners, and a host of options will appear. The best part about using their services is that there is no additional cost to do so. You'll pay the same amount for your trip as if you booked it yourself.
If you prefer to go a different route, Walt Disney World has Cast Members standing by to assist you with your booking. You'll simply
call the number provided on the website to speak to a Cast Member who can answer any questions you have regarding your stay. They can book your trip directly over the phone, including resort accommodations, tickets, and dining plan. However, they can not help with other aspects of your trip, including airfare.
You can opt to book your stay using the
Walt Disney World website. There is a "Build Your Vacation" toolbar that is easy to use. You'll enter your travel dates along with the number of Guests in your party to get started. There is a chat feature on the website that allows you to interact with a Cast Member for help during the process. If you already have an idea of how you want your trip to look, this will be the fastest option for booking.
Thomas, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! If you're looking for a personalized approach to planning your trip, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner will be the way to go.
Happy planning!
Greg
