Does Disney have an "open reservation system" that allows you to get the price change after booking and deposited ?

Hey there Bobette and welcome to planDisney!

The Walt Disney World Resort is always showing up with new and exciting information to help create more opportunities for fun on your vacations. The new information I love the most is found on the Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts page. I'm notorious for watching out for deals up until it's nearly time to travel! Your reservation can absolutely be modified to accommodate new discounts that apply to you. Once I saw a deal pop up that included the travel dates I had booked and was nearly paid in full on. I called 407-939-5277 and spoke with a fabulous Cast Member who walked me through the process of changing my reservation to accommodate the discount. I even saved a couple of dollars on my trip!

Speaking of new information, Disney just announced that Character Meetings are finally coming back as soon as April 18th!  Yes, that means you'll be able to get those hugs from Mickey Mouse again really soon. It might as well be Christmas at my house for as excited as we are! Check for fresh announcements over at Disney Parks Blog.

Bobette, go ahead and book that trip if you haven't already. Do stop by if you have any more questions!

    Happy planning!
