Does disney open up more dining reservations times for people who didn’t know they were coming later then the 180 day window for reservations?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Joseph!

It is true, advanced dining reservations are available for most Walt Disney World restaurants 180 days in advance of travel.  If a particular restaurant is not showing availability for you, I definitely recommend that you check back often for openings.  Your best bet would be to try periodically for cancellations made by other guests.  This can be done by calling (407) WDW-DINE or online.  Don't get discouraged. I've been able to obtain previously unavailable dining reservations a day before we wanted to dine.  That brings up another point... If you haven't had any luck before you leave for your trip, continue to check for some extra pixie dust once you have arrived.

    Magically yours in 2018,
