Hi Natalie! Oh dear this is always hard to predict what a family might spend on their Disney vacations! There is so much to see and do and of course the shopping is amazing!
You didn't mention if you were on a dining plan or not but am assuming you are since you said "extra" food. Depending on the plan you have you really won't need much more for extra food. The basic and the deluxe plans can almost be too much as you are eating all day plus your snacks. The Quick service plan is also plenty but some families like to take time and have a nice dinner at table service restaurants during their stay as an added expense. This could run you a $100 depending on ages of children and if any alcohol is added.
Alcohol will be an added expense for your trip. If you enjoy a glass of wine with dinner or want to try some wines and beers or drinks from around the world in Epcot's World Showcase this can run you at least $10 a drink.
Transportation is complimentary unless you take a taxi and each run within the property can be anywhere from about $12-$20 a ride. Tips for housekeeping are at your discretion and normally run from $5-$10 a day.
Many families do Disney gift cards for each member for them to select their own souvenirs for the trip. You can purchase those ahead of time and use those for anything in the shops on property. Buying souvenirs is often the most expensive "extra" and this way you can control the budget from getting overboard! You can see the selections and purchase those

Disney package vacations are great because everything is paid for in advance. You can now determine what you want for the extras depending on your own budget. Some families will take $100 per person and others will take $300 per person in the family to cover shopping and recreation additions.
