Welcome aboard, Beverley!
Thanks for coming to planDisney with your question about specialty wine dinners aboard
Disney Cruise Line. A Disney cruise is such a special experience, and enjoying adult-only dining experiences or special wine pairings takes the elegance and charm to the next level! “If you’re stressed, it’s fine dining we suggest,” right? I’m happy to share what’s offered across the Disney fleet for the fantastic dining experience you may be seeking.
I confirmed today with a friendly Disney Crew member that there isn’t a set chef’s table or interactive dining available on any of the ships. Please see this
list of adult-exclusive dining locations available – they are all fabulous and offer a relaxed, comfortable but elegant experience. Please note there is a moderate upcharge for these specialty meals, but I find their value to be exceptional.
Remy,
Palo, and
Enchanté (exclusive to the Wish) offer an upscale dining experience that may be reserved during your activities booking window under Adult Dining. These signature dining locations are exquisite in their views, offer exceptional personalized service, and make you feel like a true Disney princess. My husband and I always make time together for this magical meal. You may opt to add a wine pairing upon being seated; there will be customized wine selections paired with each course and served by a sommelier who will share stories of the vintage and offer background details to the tasting notes. You may also share one pairing if you desire less total alcohol but still want the heightened experience.
I’ve not yet sailed on the beautiful new Wish, but I’ll share that Palo brunch aboard the other ships remains my favorite Disney meal (among theme parks, resorts, and cruise ships). The flavors here transport me right back to Italy, at once both comforting and imaginative. To try other offerings, last year we enjoyed Remy brunch with the champagne pairing. I confess that while it was a very special experience, I was missing Palo! Remy is in the French style of cuisine and allowed me to try new textures, flavors, and dishes I never would have otherwise. I did come away with a new favorite champagne but would first recommend Palo brunch if you have not yet experienced either one.
If you’re sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy, they offer a
Palo Be Our Chef experience where you can learn, cook a meal together, and enjoy delicious wine pairings as you go.
I hope this gives you some delightful options to consider for your next cruise, Beverley. Please sail back and “sea” us if you’d like additional advice or guidance to finalize your magical vacation plans.
Cheers,
Amy
