Hi there, Mouseketeer!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney, and thank you for your service. As a wife to a military veteran, it is my pleasure to share with you what I know about what magic is in store at Walt Disney World Resort for military members and their families.
First, let's talk about theme park tickets. Military service members who are active duty, reservists, retired through the military, or have a 100% disability rating are eligible to purchase discounted Disney Parks tickets.
Disney Military Salute Tickets, which are for multi-day visits, can be purchased at your nearby U.S. military base's ticket office. You can also buy them on Walt Disney World property at
Shades of Green, an Armed Forces Recreation Center.
Eligible military members can also find discounts for our stays at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels. The 2025 deals haven't been released yet; however, call the phone number that is listed on the
U.S. Military Hotel Rates webpage to talk to a friendly Cast Member about your options. You will show your valid military ID upon hotel check-in to lock in that lower rate.
AN EXTRA GEM: Although this deal hasn't been announced yet for 2025, currently for 2024, you can get a special military discount on
Memory Maker, the official way to download photos that you took around property during your vacation. You have to purchase this deal while on your trip at a theme park's Guest Relations or at a ticket window.
Please
give us a holler here at planDisney if you have additional Disney vacation planning questions. Any of the panelists will be more than happy to help.
Magic always,
LeAndra
