Hello, Regina! Thanks for visiting planDisney! I'll happily help you prepare for your upcoming fall visit!
The Walt Disney World Resort has a long history of welcoming Guests with varying degrees of disability. I hope that your rehabilitation is successful over the coming months. By the time you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort this fall, you might want to consider use of a wheelchair or ECV. The Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and Disney Parks offer special
accommodations for Guests with mobility disabilities. The Disney Parks have made it possible for Guests with mobility disabilities to experience many of their attractions via use of wheelchairs or ECVs. The link that I included above will list how Guests with mobility disabilities can access various attractions throughout all of the parks.
At the present time, there are no announcements regarding
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Last year, the event was cancelled due to the need for physical distancing. I am a huge fan of this spectacularly spooky event at Magic Kingdom Park! In previous years, tickets for this event have gone on sale in April. I am keeping a close eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website, as well as the Disney Parks Blog for information regarding this annual event. These two sites are the most reliable sources for information regarding the Walt Disney World Resort!
Regina, while we wait for information regarding Halloween, we do know that Mickey, Minnie, and all of their pals are getting ready for a grand celebration this fall!
The World's Most Magical Celebration officially kicks-off on October 1, 2021 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Walt Disney World Resort! You're so lucky that you will be arriving just before the start of this 18-month long celebration! The decorations will be up to mark this memorable milestone!
