We love multiplying the magic with an extended vacation experience that checks all the boxes of how we prefer to travel.Ticket and hotel accommodations on the land side can be booked by contacting the Walt Disney World Resort directly. As of January 2, 2026, for the sea side of your vacation, when making new bookings with the Disney Cruise Line, you can connect your land and sea vacation by including ground transfers between Port Canaveral and your selected Disney World hotel.There are many ways to arrange your land and sea vacation, depending on your specific travel plans. Pairing Disney Cruise Line with Walt Disney World is the most common and straightforward. For our most recent cruise aboard the Disney Treasure, we started by flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO) and staying one night in the Hyatt Regency hotel located directly within Terminals A and B. The next morning, our vacation was off to a relaxing and enjoyable start with a convenient ground transfer directly from the hotel to the port. After disembarking from the Treasure, we boarded a Disney motorcoach that took us to Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The combined experience felt like a seamless extended Disney vacation.On the West Coast, we love visiting the Disneyland Resort before driving ourselves down to San Diego to board our Disney cruise from there. Our next cruise on the Disney Wonder will be preceded by a few nights at Disney's Aulani. We'll finish that vacation in Vancouver, where we have a ground transfer from the port to the airport booked. Our next big vacation after that will start with a stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort before we drive ourselves down to Fort Lauderdale to board the Disney Dream.
