Does Disney offer any kind of childcare services? I'd like to plan a dinner out with my husband for an evening. Are there babysitters available at Disney if we stay in a Resort? We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge.

    Hi Tara!

Disney resorts do offer childcare services - which are perfect for a romantic night out with your spouse! The Wilderness Lodge features a fun kids area called "The Cub's Den". This is a group childcare type setting for kids aged 3 to 12 and is normally open from late afternoon to about midnight. Dinner and a snack will be provided to kids during the evening.

While same-day reservations are sometimes available, I would strongly suggest making reservations for the club in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 up to 180 days in advance.

If you'd prefer to set up in-room babysitting, or more personal service, Walt Disney World also has that covered. Here is a snippet of information on a service they provide:

"Together with independent childcare provider Kids Nite Out, Disney's Wilderness Lodge also offers you the convenience of one-to-one in-room babysitting. You can even reserve a childcare specialist to accompany you and your family during your visit to the Parks, providing a helping hand where needed. For rates and details, call (407) 828-0920."

Hope that helps! Have a fun night out!
