Does Disney offer gluten-free meals. At restaurants

Hi ya, Shelia and welcome back to planDisney

It’s so nice to see that you’re planning on Returning to a World of Magic pretty soon. You must be so excited! I know that I just feel happier when I have a trip booked. It’s pretty funny actually, when I don’t have a trip booked, I’m looking for a way to book a trip. You can’t keep me away from Walt Disney World Resort!

Shelia, as a self-proclaimed “Disney Foodie” myself, I understand your concern about special dietary needs. Hakuna Matata, Walt Disney World Resort does an incredible job of accommodating Guests with food allergies. You do not need to worry! Just be sure to ask for an Allergy-Friendly menu at any dining location you visit. You are also able to select the “special dietary request” box when making dining reservations so that the restaurant will know before you arrive that you will need an allergy-friendly menu.

I also recommend checking out some of the restaurant menus online before you arrive. That way you can have a general idea of where you would like to eat and what they have to offer. I’m personally not gluten-free, but I do prefer the plant-based options. Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo is home to my most favorite plant-based meal at Walt Disney World Resort. I cannot get enough of the Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread. If you scroll further down on this menu, you will see the Gluten-Free heading with the options listed below. You can do this with most menus online so definitely take a look. (Tip: Keep a notebook handy to jot down your favorite options so you can use that as a guide when making dining reservations or planning your day at the parks).

    Bon Appétit

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
