    Does Disney still offer galley tours? My husband is a chef and he is interested in seeing kitchens, even on vacation. 😂Thanks!

    Why hello there Diana, I'm always happy to give a Royal welcome and help a fellow Canadian here at planDisney!

    As an amateur Disney food fanatic myself, it sounds like your husband and I both share a love of seeing the magic behind the scenes across the many kitchens full of talented chefs responsible for all of the great dining options at Walt Disney World Resort. You must've heard about the Taste of the Magic Kingdom VIP Tour that took groups of very fortunate foodies on the other side of the counter to speak directly with the experts, eager to learn from their gastronomic guidance while sampling deliciousness at every turn. It truly was a culinary cabaret, and something that I was really looking forward to experiencing myself!

    You might be as sad as I am to learn that unfortunately it isn't being offered on the list of available bookable tours at Walt Disney World Resort at the present time. I highly recommend keeping an eye out on the website and following the Disney Parks Blog for any official announcements on this and any other Enchanting Extras as they come! 

    In the meantime, the next best things that I can also recommend are some of my favourite restaurants with open kitchens that may offer him a better glimpse of the operation: Flying Fish and Trattoria al Forno at Disney's BoardWalk as well as California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. 
     
    If all else fails, he can experience a really immersive in-depth look - albeit in a whimsical way - through Remy's Ratatouille Adventure as you "dine and dash" underneath stations (that may likely still feel oddly familiar to him from a very different rat's-eye view perspective).
