Does Disney offer financing on park tickets? Circa $1,500 worth

Hello Robert, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sending your question our way; I'm happy to help a fellow traveler.

How exciting that you have a spring vacation planned to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I love escaping to sunny Florida when Elsa is still making things frosty up north. The weather in Walt Disney World should be perfect during your March getaway. Stay tuned for more information regarding the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, an annual  event featuring beautiful blooms and fresh flavors.

Robert, while Walt Disney World does not directly offer financing on the purchase of theme park tickets, I do have a few ideas for breaking the total up into smaller payments.

First, if you book a vacation package that includes a Resort Hotel stay and theme park admission, after making an initial deposit of $200 you can pay the remainder in as many installments as you like. Payments can be made through your travel agent, by calling Disney, or through your My Disney Experience account, and the package price must be paid in full 45 days prior to check-in. If you were already planning to stay onsite at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, bundling your resort and tickets is a great way to streamline the payment experience. There are some fantastic special offers available for your vacation dates, so be sure to check them out!

Another option is the Disney Visa Card from Chase. While I primarily use this card on everyday purchases like gas and groceries to earn Disney Reward Dollars to spend during my vacations, it also offers cardmembers 0% promotional APR for 6 months on select Disney vacation packages. If you are open to having another credit card in your wallet, I recommend this one; there's no annual fee and in addition to the special financing offer, you may also be eligible for a variety of perks and discounts once you arrive at Walt Disney World.

One more idea is to buy Disney Gift Cards to use towards the purchase of your theme park tickets. These are available at nearly all major supermarkets and big-box stores, so you could slowly accumulate the total cost of theme park admission throughout your grocery shopping trips. Keep in mind that you can only make theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass System once you have purchased and linked tickets to your My Disney Experience account, so keep an eye on the Availability Calendar to make sure your desired days to visit aren't running low on capacity.

Robert, I hope this gives you some ideas for how to make all of your vacation dreams come true. This has been a challenging year for everyone, and a visit to Walt Disney World is the perfect way to kick off spring and a season of new beginnings. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make your stay even more magical.
